Territory Manager
Position Summary:
The Territory Manager (TM) is the primary contact for all aspects of the commercial business in the assigned territory. It is a field based, customer facing position that interacts at multiple levels in which total hospital account management skills and a high level of business acumen are required. They will ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded. They will be at the forefront of understanding market needs, establishing strong customer relationships, and ensuring our products' value is clearly communicated and understood. The TM will also work closely with our matrix team to develop strategies to promote our products to medical professionals, hospital administrators, and other relevant stakeholders. This position requires routine air and overnight travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple customers, keeping them informed of supply/inventory, resolving complaints, and identifying potential new customers and opportunities.
- Demonstrate a high level of clinical aptitude, particularly in the liver transplant disease space. Work with liver transplant teams to collect and analyze data on perfused and preserved livers, contributing to a database of product performance.
- Collaborate effectively with transplant teams, internal management, and coworkers through timely communication and support. Assist managers, directors, and other internal staff with various assignments when not on call.
- Organize and conduct training sessions, both in-person and remotely. Deliver virtual and in-person presentations to customers, fostering strong relationships through professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Engage in R&D activities under management’s direction, contributing to lab settings and case study reviews.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems and vendor credentialing requirements. Perform administrative tasks related to expenses, emails, and other communications.
- Attend local, regional, national, and international meetings and conferences, both in-person and virtually.
- Adhere to the letter and spirit of the Company’s Code of Conduct and all other company policies.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the VP Commercial, North America.
- Manage sales and provide customer support in a designated territory, including 24/7 on-call duties for up to 15 days a month, covering holidays and weekends.

- BS degree in combination with medical device experience

- Must be able to enthusiastically work at a fast pace in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.
Preferred Requirements:
- Health science-related degree or the equivalent work experience.
- Industry experience in pharmaceutical or medical devices.
