JOB DETAILS:

  • Work as an Advanced Clinical Expert in educating customers on best practices of medical device and Patient Care Network workflows within targeted strategic, enterprise accounts, and IDN’s.
  • Proactively manage key partner relationships to strengthen overall solution capabilities and drive greater client value and medical device program adoption.
  • Analyzes Market Dynamics to identify the greatest needs and opportunities.
  • Demonstrates ability to build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and shares product expertise accordingly.
  • Provides technical, sales, education, and clinical support in response to the most complex field inquiries. 
  • Demonstrates a thorough command of all products, related products, and technical knowledge, trends, and players.
  • Provides provider/facility adoption direction, system training, workflow development, test planning support, and communications support to the client and implementation team.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Training and Development to provide feedback for improved customer experience and optimize implementation processes.
  • Act as an Advanced Clinical Expert internally within defined targeted accounts and within the organization.
  • Develops, leads, and/or facilitates training and other programs on products for healthcare professionals.
  • Remains current on developments in field(s) of expertise, regulatory requirements, and a good working knowledge of company and competitor products, markets, and objectives as well as industry trends.
  • Has exceptional communication skills along with confidence in speaking and delivering company-approved presentations to large groups.
  • Proactively identify at-risk accounts to Technical Services and to the appropriate Territory Manager/Regional Sales Director and recommend strategies and suggestions to retain such accounts.
  • Provide implementation opportunity forecasting and update account/opportunity details to the Manager and Salesforce CRM System.
  • May functionally direct and mentor newly hired staff within the organization.
  • Attend and participate in company and professional meetings, including conference and webinar calls.
  • Understand administrative reporting responsibilities and maintain and submit accurate and timely reports.
  • Maintain and manage time, travel, and expenses within set corporate guidelines and policies using best practices as directed by the National Director of Field Implementation Services and the company.
  • Competent in computer operation including Microsoft WORD, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

 

OTHER:

Accountability/Supervision: 

  • Working under limited supervision is accountable for providing educational and clinical support to the field in response to the most complex inquiries from physicians, health care professionals, patients, and sales staff. 
  • Performs work that involves a high degree of independence. 
  • Work is reviewed upon milestones and upon completion for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy/accuracy. 
  • Contributions affect team/organization results.
  • Performs assignments of moderate complexity, resolves difficult problems using intellectual capabilities, ingenuity, and advanced scientific principles; completes reports and makes oral presentations; consistent use of independent judgment. 
  •  May contribute to the development of department policies/procedures/practices.

 

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Clinical background: RN, BSN, MSN, PA, or equivalent experience
  • Able to communicate effectively and work within a team environment.
  • Overnight travel 35%

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have inpatient and or outpatient Heart failure program experience with an advanced practice degree such as NP, MS, or PA or relevant experience.  Experience in project management, performance improvement, and process improvement across hospitals or IDN’s also preferred. 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience required.  Prefer a degree in Nursing, or other medical discipline.
  • 5 years or more relevant working experience is required.
  • Clinical background: Advanced Practitioner such as CNS, NP, PA, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • working in a team selling environment
