Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer acquisition and achievement of sales targets in Mexico, Central, and South America including the Caribbean.
    • Build and maintain strong long-lasting distributor and customer relationships.
    • Technical and sales support for customers incl. use of CRM tool according to data quality requirements.
    • Development of new markets and new customer acquisition
    • Product pricing and quotations for products available to end users and distributors.
    • Maintain list price levels in the market whenever possible while adhering to corporate discounting policies and approvals. Negotiate new pricing with end user customers and distributors for new products when applicable.
    • Update and distribute direct end user annual price lists or sales catalogs if applicable.
    • Work with management to set pricing for end users’ products.
    • Present pricing strategies and overall sales outlook for end users’ sales
    • Create and implement special end users’ sales promotions.
    • Create and maintain customer contact management system.
    • Assist in OEM, distributor, and dealer activities.
    • Assist in the price negotiation and the setting of dealer pricing agreements.
    • Receive and assist in communicating customer complaints to QA and assist in their resolution.
    • Support and expand existing partner networks.
    • Arrange and communicate with customers and distributors through in person and virtual customer meetings.
    • Other special tasks as assigned.
  • Sales forecasts and Sales Volume
    • Participate in defining sales volume for end user and distributor sales where applicable.
    • Define sales volumes by region for end users and distributors.
    • Create and implement promotion strategies for end user customers and distributors.
    • Present sales numbers at the annual management review meeting for end user and distributor sales
    • Analyze and present on the competition and current and future market situations.
  • Area Marketing Activities
    • Create and implement regional marketing strategies.
    • Attend regional trade fairs and meetings and network with customers.
    • Perform product demonstrations at customer sites.
    • Attend annual national meetings and perform product demonstrations and negotiate sales.
    • Participate in the creation of sales and marketing materials and strategies including .ppt, brochures, and online advertisements.
  • Business Development & Strategy Management
    • Develop and implement growth opportunities for the Healthcare BU
    • Creation of long-term value including through the development of new customers and markets.
    • Work with business unit leadership to create, implement, and maintain business development strategies for identified industries.
    • Assist regulatory in registration and regional compliance for products sold into regions in the defined market.
    • Assist regulatory in communicating and carrying out post-market surveillance activities in the region.
    • Train regional distributors on product portfolios and assist technical service in training distributor service engineers.

 

Qualifications:

  • EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Minimum Bachelor’s degree desired in related sciences and or business administration
  • REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Good understanding of sales and marketing strategies. 
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing the vision.
  • Proficient in related software (Microsoft, CRM, Dynamics)
  • EXPERIENCE PREFERED: Three years plus. Experience in related healthcare industries or medical technology business environments preferred.
  • Languages Skills: English, Spanish, Portuguese business fluent
