Job Summary:
The Company is seeking an experienced Electrophysiologist or Interventional Cardiologist to serve as Clinical Director, leading the team in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of heart rhythm disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) and a proven track record of leadership and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical leadership to the electrophysiology team, including physicians, nurses, and technologists
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines for CRM procedures
- Perform complex electrophysiology procedures, including device implantations and ablations
- Interpret electrocardiograms, Holter monitors, and other cardiac rhythm studies
- Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in CRM technology and techniques
- Participate in research and education initiatives to advance the field of electrophysiology
- Mentor and train junior physicians and staff in electrophysiology and CRM
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Board certification in Cardiology and Electrophysiology
- 5+ years of experience in electrophysiology or interventional cardiology, with a focus on CRM
- Proven leadership experience, preferably as a director or department chair
- Strong understanding of cardiac rhythm management devices, including pacemakers, ICDs, and CRTs
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CCDS or CEPS)
- Research experience and publications in electrophysiology and CRM
- Experience with cardiac ablation procedures and advanced mapping techniques
