ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Contract VP of Finance role is responsible for the financial performance of the company and ensures that it is in compliance with all financial regulations and reporting. The Contract VP of Finance will oversee all financial operations and provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by the management team. Furthermore, the role will focus on increasing the operational excellence of the Finance processes.

This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and would work closely with the local senior leaders and other executives as business strategy partners.  This role would lead a small Finance team (2 controllers and 3 finance experts).

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's growth plans
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including banks and auditors
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by the management team
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures that ensure accuracy and consistency
• Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators to the management team and Board of VPs
• Manage and develop the finance team to ensure that all financial operations are performed accurately and efficiently
• Manage relations with external lawyers and take care of corporate legal aspects

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience as VP of Finance in a 150-500+ employee scale production organization
• Master’s degree in finance or accounting, MBA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles
• Experience developing and implementing financial strategies that support company growth plans
• Team leadership of 2-5+ Finance team with a mentoring focus for a high-performance team
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting requirements
• Multi-site manufacturing and global company prior experience preferred
