Job Summary:

This role will be critical in driving a consistent strategy and HR support framework across the US region, partnering with the regional leadership and corporate teams to ensure the optimal people and talent strategy to drive business results. This position will report to the US Leader, Ph.D., President & COO/Chief Innovation Officer, providing expertise and guidance in culture and change management, coaching, talent assessment and development, succession planning, performance management, and organizational design within the corporate services centers of expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and expertise in culture, change, and HR processes, including talent management and pipeline development, leading organizational change, coaching, and facilitating team performance
  • Partner with HR Corporate Headquarters in areas of organizational talent & strategy, compensation & benefits, learning strategies, & communications
  • Perform a leadership role in recruiting, selection, as well as restructuring as needed
  • Utilize early career programs, mid-career transitions and knowledge transfers to ensure robust pipeline and succession plans are in place
  • Partner with client managers to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable business objectives
  • Partner with client managers to develop and embed a contemporary organizational culture, leverage change acceleration techniques to assist in driving broad change
  • Act as an organizational & simplification champion coach who builds organizational capabilities reduces complexity, and partners with clients to maximize team performance
  • Strategically partner with client managers to design and implement the most effective organizational structures and manage transitions
  • Provide timely, effective, and direct coaching to client group managers, assisting in the development of strong, contemporary leadership skills
  • Facilitate culture and communications throughout the organization; work with operating leaders to ensure successful implementation of change efforts
  • Be responsible rewards and recognition programs that are equitable and in line with the organization’s goals
  • Provide advice, council, and support for benefits, training, compliance programs, HR systems, CSR
  • Act as an impartial advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment

  • Demonstrated experience in making sound strategic HR decisions & assessing executive leadership talent
  • Ability to effectively interface and influence high-level business and operations leaders
  • Demonstrated success managing projects and/or implementing process improvement initiatives
  • Strong presence, seen as influential & respected by leadership
  • Strong ‘storytelling’ ability, crafts a clear and engaging message

Education and Experience:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources (MHR, MILR, MBA) accredited university or college
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in a variety of Human Resources positions
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resource leadership role
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience partnering with commercial or service leaders to elevate workforce performance

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Potentially prolonged periods of standing
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
